Nokia X7 Dies An Early Death

The Nokia X7 dies before it surfaced in the market and this is hugely disappointing for those who were waiting for its arrival in the USA via AT&T. It seems that the mobile carrier was not keen in launching the phone and it was not worth much.
"Nokia X7"
Nokia had decided to rewind its decision of launching the phone as it anticipated that the popular mobile carrier would not give it the marketing and the subsidies that is requires. In fact, the Nokia X7 would have been the first mobile of Nokia in the Smartphone segment that would have been the first since Stephen Eton took over as the CEO of Nokia in the month of September last year. This move of Nokia has really disappointed many customers in the mobile market and it is for this reason that the brand is lagging behind in the US Smartphone market. AT & T, on the other hand is of the view, that Nokia needs to price the phone in order to generate enough revenue for surviving in the intensely competitively market. There were rumors that the model was shipping way back in September but they were just rumors and customers had to wait for the final arrival of the phone only to be disappointed in the end!

Latest Nokia Phones

No matter if you are looking for touch  screen phones, classic phones, with QWERTY keyboard, you can be sure  something is available for you.  If we take a look at Nokia n8, we can  say this is one cell phone with something brand new and never seen  before in a cell phone: the 12 megapixels camera with amazing editing  options, quality settings and all sorts of customizations. With such a  phone you don’t have to consider a digital camera anymore.

The C series is one of the Nokia latest phones, released in  2010 bringing relatively satisfying features for a reasonable price.  In  this category there are several models among which Nokia C1, Nokia  C1-01, Nokia C1-02 and Nokia C2, Nokia C3, Nokia C5, Nokia C6, Nokia C7  and Nokia C8. The first ones aren’t much, but they look good and they  bring just what you need for basic calling, messaging and some other  basic features. Nokia C5 is something special as it reveals a new  feature: in the phone book you can see your contact’s status from  Facebook. You can also share your status. The home screen is also  different as it shows three friends of yours for calling them faster and  also texting them. As Internet is the main focus on today’s population  these Nokia phones are oriented to bring fast access and latest news  about your friends just to keep in touch with them anytime.  Even the  looks of Nokia C5 are impressive, it is sharp and stylish, you wouldn’t  call it a budget phone by far.

The X series is something new as well because in this case Nokia  let’s go its rounded shaped phones and go for the square models and  shapes. If you take a look at Nokia X3, X5 and X6, you can say there is  something attractive about them, not to mention that some of them come  in such bright colors that will surely make you pop from the crowd.  Nokia X3 brings a slider format no 3G unfortunately but Bluetooth,  stereo audio and microSD card slot. With the 3.2 megapixels camera you  can take some nice shots and with the compatibility with music you can  say it is more oriented for media use, teenagers in specific.  Nokia X6  is all about music as it brings a 3.2” display with a 16:9 format, also  great for watching videos. With the impressive camera of 5 megapixels  with Carl Zeiss optics you can amaze your friends with the shots taken.  This does have Wi-Fi and GPS, so staying connected to the internet is  not a problem.

And to end with the latest Nokia phone, the N9. It features an  impressive 4” display TFT with 16M colors and a pixel resolution of  480x800, Nokia ClearBlack display, multi-touch input, a 5 megapixels  camera and MeeGo OS as operating system.

LG P350 Optimus Me, Mid-Range Smartphone with Android and 3 Megapixel Camera

It seems that LG wants to exploit the good news (and good results) family of smartphones LG Optimus with a new handset, the LG P350 Optimus me. A mid-range phone with which we are coming to preliminary data, and can become a good end in terms of sales if the price is, as announced from LG, affordable pockets.
As expected after this presentation, Optimus LG P350 I do not especially noted for its technical characteristics. The screen size is between 2.8 “and 3″ with a resolution to increase to 320 x 480 pixels and will be capacitive touch (will make movements with multiple fingers and zoom).
One of its attractions is the operating system, in this case the 2.2 version of the popular Froyo Android. Google is making phones with the system have a certain distinction (things of marketing, although it is true that this operating system is quite functional). On the other hand, the mobile will include a 3 megapixel camera. The LG P350 Optimus I run with a 600 MHZ processor, an average speed, but with a powerful memory of 512 MB RAM.

Full HD (1080p) mobile phones

With the latest televisions, camcorders, gaming consoles all boasting full high-definition (1,920 x 1,080 pixels, or 1080p) display capability, owning a HD cell phone–one that can capture, display and output videos in 720p (1,280 x 720 pixels) mode–seems so yesterday!
And with leading processor manufacturers, including NVIDIA, Qualcomm and Freescale, all set to bring out dual-core CPUs in the near future, the long-heralded promise of top-quality video entertainment on mobile phones is slowly turning into reality. Why? The new-age chips, among other things, will be able to facilitate a faster and smoother Internet surfing experience and allow you to do multitasking on your phones with almost zero screen lag.
So, if you are planning to buy a high-end smartphone that can record, display and output full HD video, here is a list of four devices that fit the bill perfectly (we have also added one model that’s rumored to be 1080p-ready).

LG LU3000 full HD phone with DLNA streaming

What you get: The LG LU3000, which is currently available only in South Korea (no word yet on the device’s launch elsewhere; we will keep you posted!), is a high-end smartphone equipped to record, play back and output full high-definition video. A 5-megapixel camera (2592 x 1944 pixels) with features including autofocus and LED flash, located on the rear of the phone, can capture videos in 1080p (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) resolution. Powered by a 1GHz TI OMAP3630 processor, this LG newbie provides an HDMI-output port for users to enjoy full HD videos captured on the camera in compatible televisions, projectors, etc. The phone conforms to standards set by the DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance, a group of almost 250 electronics companies that manufacture products which can interact with each other). What this means for you is that you can wirelessly stream photos, songs or videos from the LG LU3000 to other DLNA devices–including PCs, TVs.
Worried about running out of storage capacity while watching the latest movies? Well, chill–LG has packed in a microSD card slot into the phone that allows you to increase the device’s memory to up to 32GB.
Based on the Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system, the full HD-ready smartphone sports a 3.8-inch TFT capacitive multi-touch screen, which renders 16 million colors and has a native resolution of 800 x 480 pixels–by far, the sharpest mode found currently among mobile phones (as you might be aware, we are still awaiting a phone with a truly pixel-for-pixel high-definition screen). Another interesting thing about the phone’s display is its in-plane switching (IPS) feature, which gives users a wider viewing angle.
Web enthusiasts will find quick access to YouTube, social networking hotspots (Facebook, Twitter) and various Google apps including Google Search, Gmail, Google Talk, etc. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth V2.1 with A2DP and microUSB V2.0.
Other key specifications of the 3G-ready LG LU3000 include a multi-format music and video player; aGPS; games; geo-tagging (tagging of videos and pictures with information on their geographic location); accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate; proximity sensor for auto turn-off; 3.5 mm audio jack.

Based on Android 2.2 OS (though, we expect LG to provide an upgrade to Gingerbread in the future), the LG Optimus 2X comes with an 8.1MP camera–with LED flash and autofocus–at the back that can record 1080p video. Play back the full HD videos on a 4-inch capacitive screen, featuring 16 million colors and rendering a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. You also get a 1.3MP front-facing camera for video calling. Sporting a dimension of 63.2 x 10.9 x 123.9mm (W x D x H), the phone lets users stream 1080p videos wirelessly on to any DLNA-compatible digital device. Another highlight is the fact that the phone will be the first LG device to get music and ringtones created by legendary movie soundtrack composer Ennio Morricone!
