Nokia C7, combining stainless steel

slim touch-screen smartphone to worldwide markets, the Nokia C7, combining stainless steel and glass in a beautiful and slick design. Arriving along with the Nokia C6 and E7, these are the first phones to utilize the new Symbian 3 software, and it works great on the large and crisp touch-screen.

SYMBIAN 3 A GREAT IMPROVEMENT

The latest version of the mobile operating system Symbian 3, it includes a variety of social networking options, which gives you access to different social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. It also connects your contacts to their own profiles on these sites, with new networking sites set to be included in the near future.
Dialling numbers has never been easier, with the Nokia C7’s dialler showing the number that you have just typed in and corresponding it to the contact that you are most likely looking for. The phone also has three different homescreens, which you can customize using any imformation that suits your fancy, such as your email or contacts, or even current events like the news and the weather.

BRIGHT AND CLEAR SCREEN DISPLAY

The display is a 3.7 inch AMOLED capacitive touch-screen, with Nokia’s own ClearBlack Display. The Nokia C7’s special screen results in darker blacks and brighter colours, unfortunately still resulting in greasy finger marks associated with touch-screens. At only 360×640 pixels, the resolution isn’t the greatest, but is still relatively unnoticeable. However, an eight megapixel camera with dual LED flash, a 720p HD video, On Demand Web TV and A-GPS means that the Nokia C7 is a serious camera with limitless creative potential.

The Symbian 3 software is definitely a great improvement from it’s predecessors and has come along way to challenge the competition, such as Google Chrome and Apple’s iOS. The phone itself is solid, sturdy and glossy, with it’s ability to easily switch between applications, multimedia and contacts giving the Nokia C7 a lot to be proud of.
