NEW DELHI: It's raining Android smartphones in India. The latest to join the fray is Sony Ericsson which has refreshed its line-up with the launch of Android-powered Xperia X8.
Sporting a 3-inch scratch resistance capacitive screen with 320x480 resolution, Xperia X8 comes with a 3.2 megapixel fixed focus camera.
Powered by 600MHZ processor, the phone runs on Android 1.6 and is expected to get a 2.1 upgrade. Connectivity features include 3G, Wi-Fi b/g and Bluetooth 2.1. As for memory, Xperia X8 packs internal memory of 128MB and offers microSD support upto 16GB.
It also comes with Stereo FM, GPS and Google Maps. The phone is priced at Rs 13,900.
