Lava Mobiles launches dual SIM phone KKT-70 in India for Rs. 4,999


Lava Mobiles has launched a dual SIM and dual standby multi-media GSM mobile phone called Lava KKT-70 in India. The KKT-70 is available at a price tag of Rs. 4,999. You can check out other pocket-friendly dual SIM phones available in India here.
The KKT-70 features GPRS/EDGE technology so that users can access the Internet on their handsets.It also has a 2-megapixel camera with 4xzoom capabilities. Lava KKT-70 has a 2.4-inch QVGA TFT display screen with 260K colors, offering a resolution of 240×320 pixels. Its 1700 mAh Li-ion battery provides 30 days of standby time.

For connectivity, the KKT-70 supports GPRS, WAP and Bluetooth, and comes with a USB port. Moreover, the phone supports 8GB of memory via micro SD/micro SDHC. Users can save up to 1000 contacts into their phone memory. Lava KKT-70 supports JAVA applications and you can access Snaptu, Opera Mini and NgPay in your phone. It comes pre-loaded with a few games too.
Other features of the phone include Indian Calendar, Picture Editor, Mobile Tracker, Flight Mode and Privacy Protection. For music lovers, the KKT-70 features FM Recording, FM Alarm and Audio player. In addition, it supports multi-format Video player and stereo FM. Lava KKT-70 comes equipped with a 3.5 mm Universal Jack. Other features include answering machine, Schedule, Hidden SMS and a conversation recorder.
The launch of KKT-70 comes on top of Maxfone Mobiles’ recent release of five new multimedia phones in India, priced between Rs. 1,500-2,500. Maxfone’s MQ01, M301, M201, M101 and M102 models include long-lasting battery phones, music phones, GPRS phones and business phones.
Also, Techcom India has forayed into the Indian mobile segment by launching seven new mobile phones. The seven mobile phone models are named as T21, T31, T33, T51, T55, T60 and TQ21. All seven phones are dual SIM (GSM+GSM) and mid-ranged, targeted at the youth in urban and semi-urban areas of the country.
