The yearly MWC, 2011 event is here. It just started on 13th of February 2011 and we had planned to cover this magnificent event from start till end. We in this post are going to unleash the beasts we expect mobile vendors will be announcing through out the conference, there might be some shockers and a lot of expected announcements. We at Telecomnewspk.com been working on gathering information on all leaked and rumored smartphones and tablets and have successfully compiled a list, which we shall discuss shortly.
As speculated, the conference has started with the speeches made by representatives of Nokia, Sonyericsson and Samsung at same time on beautiful sunday evening. Today on 14th Mary McDowell who is an executive vice president of Nokia phones will be taking part in an event regarding “Taking Apps to the Mass Market” further details can be gathered here MWC 2011 NokiaWe shall try our best to keep this live blogging event upto date and feed our users with latest feeds from the events. We shall begin with Nokia and Samsung and then slowly cover rest of the brands and discuss about all the expected phones.
Nokia Mobiles:
The future seems bright for Nokia, despitethe release of iPhone and various other smartphones, Nokia still seems to be holding the number 1 spot in Mobile Industry. On 13th February, Nokia confirmed that they will be using Windows 7 operating system for their mobiles in future, this means that they migt put a stop to their Symbian Series mobilesm remember they have released 4 Symbian^3 mobiles recently and 5th is on its way. Nokia also promised to release the Meego handset in 2011, chances are that Nokia N9 will be using Meego, we can only wait!
Following is the list of Mobiles expected to be announced on MWC.
Nokia N9 is expected to have Meego, while Nokia E6 and X7 are supposedly Symbian^3 based smartphones.
Samsung Mobiles:
Samsung seems to be on a roll this year, its not even two months sine new year started and we have seen more than half a dozen phones showing up in rumoors or getting leaked in magazines. However, the affirmitive announcements contain Samsung Galaxy S2 and Samsung Corby 2, both are amazing and really good looking smartphones.
Sony Ericsson Mobiles:
Sony ericsson is building up its user base gradually and by looking at previous years sales charts, Sony Ericsson has done a good job. Okay, Sony Ericsson has some thing very special up their sleeves for this MWC, Ericsson has gone a step ahead and gave a new direction to Mobile Gaming, their Xperia Play is expected to get some lime light in this event. Xperia play is android based smartphone targetted towards video gamers, it looks pretty sleek and might give a toughtime to already established hand held gaming devices. Other set is supposed to be Xperia Neo, which previously was rumored to be Xperia Halon. One other smart phone, which is expected to make a debut is Xperia Duo.
