Android 4.0 ICS based Attitude Daksha tablet launched in India



Telecom Development Labs has announced a new sub-10,000 rupee Android 4.0 ICS tablet in India called the Attitude Daksha.

One after the other, its Android tablet season in India and a new one has now been launched in the market. Now, here comes another sub-10,000 rupee Android tablet and this one is called the Attitude Daksha from Telecom Development Labs.

The device is officially priced at Rs. 5,399 and is targeted at schools and other institutions. The device runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and will be available for order starting May 15. In regards to the specifications, it sports a 7-inch WVGA 5-point capacitive touchscreen display and is powered by a 1.5 GHz Cortex A8 processor along with 512MB DDR3 RAM.

It also includes a HDMI port, microSD card slot, microUSB port and an 'On The Go' connector for 3G USBdongles. It also includes a dedicated 400 MHz GPU, 2 megapixel rear camera and a front facing 0.3 megapixel camera. The Attitude Daksha will include a 3,800 mAh Li-Pol battery which is expected to provide a 6 hours battery life with Wi-Fi on.
