Samsung introduced the new Galaxy Pro Smartphone at the Samsung SEA Forum in Singapore. The handset powered by Google’s Android 2.2 Froyo has a QWERTY keypad and the proprietary TouchWiz UI layering. It is the first candy bar Smartphone running Android in the Galaxy family.The latest offering from Samsung with 800 MHz processor features a 2.8-inch touchscreen display and a 3 megapixel camera. The handset also supports Wi-Fi and Social Hub premium.
The Galaxy Pro will give tough competition to mobile phones such as the BlackBerry 8520, Nokia E5 and Motorola Charm.
The Galaxy Pro will cost around Rs. 15,000 or $350
